Boys Performing Tai Chi Together Yoga Pose Valhealing

On September 22, 2013 another body movement expert, Tami, and I will be holding a seminar . It is addresses the need to learn how to move in ways that go with your intrinsic connections rather than against. Intrinsic-connections, in short, are the connections that happens when one can access their intrinsic musculature in such a way that the act of moving is a whole body experience.

Too many of us move in ways that over time can cause stress on our joints and ligaments. Repetitive tasks, exercise, housework, yard work, balancing children on our hip all those things we do without giving them a second thought. When performed using the wrong muscles and improper posture, will cause alignment problems in our body, and ultimately pain. Tami and I have seen this time and time again, because we have learned over time and practice, wand in order to help keep this body pain from occurring, we have put our heads together to develop a movement class ways of moving that will help everyone.

This class is designed to take inventory of  habitual moving patterns in our daily activities of life as well as postural habits in our professions. We can learn to identify them and use physical remedies to relieve the chronically tight areas.  Instead of feeling better for just a few hours or days we can learn to move more effectively in order to relieve or prevent chronic pain. This is the work that keeps on working.

I use Qi Gong and Tai Chi as well as some core strengthening exercises to help unwind tight fascia and create grounding connections. Tami will lead us through a yoga routine to feel the poses  with more awareness after our session. We will teach you movements and exercises that will allow you to have a more intimate relationship  with all the parts of your body.

It will take some practice to get all of the movements  right, but it will be worth it!

We hope to see you on:

There will be a small charge of $25.00 per person
