For nearly 25 years now I have been massaging, training, and nurturing clients. I am often the first person that my clients call, even before they call their Doctor. Sometimes I have to tell them, ” YOU need to call your doctor”. It is wonderful to have built up such a level of trust with my clients. Because of that level of trust, when they have a friend who is obviously in pain, they give that friend my number, and that’s how my business has grown over the years.
Many of my clients have learned over the years that it is best to have a massage on a regular basis. However, I know that people get busy, sometimes money gets tight and people will put massage on the back burner. Until they are in pain, and then they need me right now. It may seem self serving of me to encourage clients to get massages regularly, but it does help. What else helps?
Adjustments with a trusted chiropractor, Yoga, Tai Chi, stretching and regular exercise. A strong core is one of the best ways to keep our backs from hurting. The stronger your core, the less likely that even the most strenuous lifting will end up in back pain. It also helps to lift things properly, and when cleaning or mopping, use your legs, not your back to push the vacuum or broom.
I can help you to strengthen your core, correct your gait, and if your back still hurts, relieve your pain.
