My name is  Valentina Boonstra and I have been an LMT, or Licensed Massage Therapist in Brevard County for more than 20 years. Over the years I have helped countless people in a number of different ways. It is so rewarding for me when I see people relieved of pain as I work on them.  The challenging part of my career is when new or existing clients call me only when they are already in terrible pain.

As a massage therapist, I have learned over the years that how you use your body in everyday life plays a significant role in how your body feels, and what pain you will experience. There is a saying, it goes something like this: “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.  If you don’t use your body properly, then the parts you don’t use correctly will start to fail, and this will cause other body parts to compensate for that failure.

Do you regularly sit at a desk most of the day?

  1. Are you in your car for more than one hour a day?
  2. Is your job stressful?
  3. Are you a Mom or Dad with a young child?
  4. Do you work out regularly?
  5. Are you training for an event?

If you answered yes to more than one of these questions, a regular massage will help to keep your body in good shape. No matter how active, or sedentary you are, the benefits of massage are stress relief, release of toxins and for some, pure relaxation.

About Brevard Massage

I have been a personal trainer and massage therapist for many years now. My specialty is getting people moving again. I have learned through the years that preventing injuries is as important as relieving pain after an injury. To that end, I have also learned Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Pilates.
