My sister, Cindy, owns a webdesign and social medial business which is aptly named Social-Cindy.com. She has several issues with her back and as she gets older, things are getting more painful for her. I work with her every couple of weeks and keep her going, until it gets really bad and she calls me and says, come now, I can’t walk today

If I lived closer I would work with her more often, but she lives about 45 minutes away and I can’t always fit the trip and the therapy which adds up to around 3 hours, into my day. So she has been on the lookout for some local Vero Beach help.

Cindy attends networking groups, and while she was at a We Are Vero luncheon a few weeks ago, Deb Arthur stood up and gave her elevator speech, and Cindy promptly got her card. They met a week later, and while they chatted, Cindy started to feel hopeful that Deb could help her. From working with me, she knows I understand way more about the body than most people do. Deb talked about many of the movements which I was already teaching her and she got excited. So excited that she said, Val, you have to connect with Deb. You two have so much in common, and by the same token, so much you can learn from each other!

pain relief through movement, feldenkrais, mind body, stretch, functional strength, So, now, here we are. I have met Deb Arthur. I am very impressed with how thoughtful she is in her practice.  A person can have all the knowledge at their finger tips, but when it comes to working with minds and bodies, there needs to be more than that. There needs to be the ability to sense what the body needs and when to keep things moving and when to stop. Deb has that.

Deb has been a teacher and coach in the wellness/fitness field for 25 plus years. During that time she has  explored and deepened her understanding of wellness and the human body,. Learning what works for each person and how to move them from one level to the next. To that end she has  completed level 1 Trager training and has been  studying the work of Feldenkrais for several years now.

Today, as a Mindful Mobility Coach, she is using her knowledge and experiences to help clients reduce body discomfort in ways that are safe and gentle, improve mobility and functional strength through a greater awareness of muscle and movement patterns, and find a greater ease and flow in body and self.

I get great joy in introducing people in my field to all my friends and clients. It is my role in this life as a connector that I now connect you with Deb.
